Russian tent manufacturing company ORT was founded in 1990.
Our principal kinds of production are military, humanitarian, tourist's and
trading tents, as well as skeleton awning constructions. Our staff
compliment is 174 including 12 engineering technique intelligentsia
personnel. Our productive capacity is at 1500 tents "M.10" per month.
The Production Structure:
We are in a fortunate position to have our own machine assembling shop,
sewing department, base cutting department, high-frequency current welding
shop, building up department, quality control department, design office,
maintenance supply department, transport department and marketing
department. Our factory is equipped with the latest most advanced machinery
imported from United States and Europe, our staff is been constantly trained
to produce high quality goods and to provide the best possible service. We
use only quality raw materials that are being tested in authorized Russian
government institutions.

We have been exporting our tents to Norway, Republic of South Africa, Italy,
Benin, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus, Moldova, and Kazakhstan since 1993.
We've been also supplying products on request to the United Nations
Organization.

At present time our firm is the single producer of the new tent samples for the
needs of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergencies in Russia and
on the entire territory of the former Soviet Union. Now we closely co-operate
with the state reserve Committee of Russian Federation. We are currently busy
with a batch of the particularized tents manufactured according to the request
of the Ministry of Emergencies in Russia. The new tent samples are more
universal, easier for its usage and assembly, more reliable when compared with
tents located in provision departments and in the state reserve depositories.

We had recently opened new office in South Africa, Centurion, to provide world class equipment to all interested parties, whose requirements may vary from camping to that of military use. Our positioning aims to utilize South Africa as a gateway into Africa for the requirements of refugee and geological camps, holiday resorts, military uses and churches.
